Firefly Appreciation

Hello.

I recently went to see fireflies.

Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park (Selangor),

which is about an hour and a half drive from Kuala Lumpur.

It was dark enough to see the fireflies and it was pitch black all around.

It was raining that day and it was scary because there was no one there, or almost no one was there at all, so it was almost a private place.

In the midst of my anxiety, the rain stopped and we took a rowboat to the dark river to see the fireflies.

RM100 per rowing boat (foreigner fee).

When I went to see fireflies in Japan, there weren't that many, so I didn't expect much.

There were a lot (laughs).

Very beautiful!

We went around various points for about 20 minutes and finished.

I came back home healed.

I was tired from getting lost on the way there and on the way back, but it was very good and I recommend it.

Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park (Selangor)

手漕ぎボート 1隻RM100(外国人価格)

I was there two years ago n I've just finished looking at my recorded clip before seeing your write up. Yes, it was raining during my visit too n stopped , so we went on a boat. 👍 it was dark, cooling and looked adventurous bcos maybe there are crocodiles out there 😨😂
